RULES & GUIDELINES
These official rules govern the conduct of the raffle. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you agree to be bound by these official rules
and the decisions of the Raffle For Real Estate management, which shall be final.
Raffle Eligibility:
- Raffle ticket buyers must be 18 years of age or older.
- Raffle tickets may not be purchased in the name of a business, trust, corporation, or other entity, or wherever prohibited by applicable law.
- No employees of Raffle For Real Estate, their relatives, or those living in their households are eligible to participate. The same ineligibility applies to Raffle For Real Estate's technical firm, Netsville, Inc.
Entry Conditions:
- A maximum of 12,000 tickets will be sold.
- The winner will be chosen at a public ceremony at [charity name/location] of their choice and the raffle winner agrees that Raffle For Real Estate may use their likeness for media, which includes television, radio, web and print.
- The prize winner may appear on the Raffle For Real Estate website.
- Once purchased, the named ticket holder can not be changed.
- Raffle For Real Estate will contact the prize winner and is entitled to rely on the named ticket holder for communication of all prize related matters.
- Division of the prize by any group purchasing a ticket will be the sole responsibility of the named prize winner.
Ticket Ordering:
- Tickets will be sold for a minimum donation of $50.00 each and may be purchased via the Raffle For Real Estate website.
- Tickets are sold subject to availabilty.
- Orders will be processed in order of reception.
- Raffle For Real Estate reserves the right to deny any raffle ticket if payment is not honored.
Payment Verification and Refunds:
- All ticket sales are final.
- Tickets may not be changed, modified or transferred.
- If a ticket is sold after the 12,000 ticket limit or after the posted deadline, the ticket price will be refunded.
- If minimum ticket sales are not reached (*), raffle tickets will be refunded (minus a service charge of $15).
- If minimum ticket sales are not reached (*), Early Bird Prizes will not come into effect.
- Raffle For Real Estate will assume no responsability for lost, late, or misdirected tickets, or any other failure to receive orders.
- A raffle ticket purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of Raffle For Real Estate shall be limited to the return of the participant's purchase price paid for his or her raffle ticket(s).
- In no event shall Raffle For Real Estate, its directors, officers, employees, agents or representatives be liable to any party for any loss or injuries to earnings, profits or goodwill, or for any incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages of any person or entity whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Raffle For Real Estate reserves the right to reject any ticket which appears defective or altered in any way, and raffle participants will be subject to disqualification if these are suspected.
The Prize:
- A winner will be selected and notified by the defined means.
- Prizes are subject to tax withholding in accordance with applicable laws.
- If a winner is unable to be contacted within a reasonable period of time after Raffle For Real Estate has attempted contact, or an applicant is deamed ineligible, the prize will be forfeit at 5PM Eastern Time, 30 calendar days following the drawing. The winner will be posted on the website and Raffle For Real Estate, their directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives are not responsible for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of a winner's acceptance or use of any prize.
- Each prize winner agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Raffle For Real Estate, their directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of such winner's acceptance or use of any prize.
- Raffle For Real Estate is not providing legal or tax advice to any contestant or winner, and all contestants and winners are strongly advised to seek professional legal and/or tax advice.
- Early Bird Prizes will be activated once the minimum number of tickets are sold (*).1st Prize = $5,000...2nd Prize = $3,200...3rd Prize = $1,000...
4th Prize = $500...5th Prize = $300.
- In order for the Grand Prize of the Residence to be honored 12,000 tickets need to be sold. In the event that 12,000 tickets are not sold Raffle For Real Estate will honor a constellation prize of up to $150,000.
- The minimum number of tickets is defined as 1000 tickets.
- In addition, 10% of the proceeds of this raffle will be donated to the Salvation Army.
